Ever since he was a wee boy, Phil was fascinated with GI Joe. Well, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a true GI Joe American hero. Once achieving hero status, Phil became a dad. Sebastian was instantly Phil's greatest accomplishment. Phil then continued on to join the local iron workers union 580. There he helped to create and eventually rebuild the city he loved so much. Phil was a great friend. He never let you down. His spirit was always free and adventurous. At 46 Phil learned that he had developed cancer. From that day forward he lived his life to the absolute fullest. He had a giant support team lead by his mother Cathy. Phil was always proud to be Cathy's son and even more proud to be Sebastian's dad. We can not forget his pups whom he loved so much, Rufus and Rosie. He leaves them behind in body, but never spirit. Phil touched so many people in his short time here. He brought old friendships back together and created families out of strangers. He never let any hardships derail him or taint his love of life, fun and laughter. Phil may have had cancer. But cancer never had Phil. Let us all try to live our lives like Phil. With strength, laughter, courage and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.youcaring.com/sebastiantodd-703193.
